Actor Believed to Have Killed Cellmate

A one-time actor who is currently serving a life sentence is now suspected of killing his cellmate in prison. The man, who once appeared in a famous comedy, was convicted in 2008 of gang raping a then 19-year-old woman. The crime occurred on Christmas Eve of 1990 but the actor was not connected to the crime until he was arrested on a felony vandalism charge in 2008. That was then that his DNA was connected to the crime scene.

Now, the man's 50-year-old cellmate has been found dead in their cell and the death is being treated as a homicide. So far, investigators have not released the killed man's name or the cause of death, but they are saying that the actor is considered the main suspect in the crime because he's the one who shares the dead man's cell.

The man who was killed was serving a two-year sentence for parole violation after not registering as a sex offender. The actor suspected of the crime is serving a life sentence for the sex crimes of rape and torture.
