Five Injured during Drunk Driving Accident
A drunken-driving accident in Irvine led to the injuries of five people last weekend.
According to police reports a man driving a pickup truck slammed into a Mercedes carrying five people, four of which were teenage girls. The driver, the father of one of the girls, and the teens were brought to local hospitals to be treated. It was later reported that one of the girls, a 14 year old, was in critical condition. Due to their status as minors, their identities will not be released.
The driver, 26-year-old Austin Farley, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving; he was later released on $100,000 bail. His passenger was not injured in the drunk driving accident.
