Estella Warren to have Felony Charges Dropped

Actress Estella Warren should consider herself lucky after having her felony escape charges dropped.

The former model and Planet of the Apes star was arrested for DUI last week; while she was in custody, the highly-intoxicated model was able to slip out of her restraints and escape. However, her lawyers were able to prove a major technicality in her case, and as a result she will not face the felony charge. Since she had not technically been booked yet, officers could not rightly call it an escape.

Yet Warren still faces charges of driving under the influence, hit and run and assault. This all stems from the drunk driving accident of last week when Warren ran her Prius into three cars, kicked an officer and was able to escape from a police station.

She was later booked and released on $100,000 bail.
