TSA Worker Accused of Theft
Either they are not getting paid enough or the Transportation Security Administration authority is hiring those with sticky-fingered tendencies, but another TSA worker was caught stealing items from luggage this week.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a task force investigating a rash of thefts at the Los Angeles International Airport discovered Paul Yashou, 37, stealing some personal items. Yashou normally works in Terminal 1, one of the busiest terminals and the first you see when you arrive at LAX.
Randy Parsons, a Federal Security Director at the airport, was quick to ensure current and future LAX passengers that the airport is working hard to stop theft offense.
Yashou is now being held in lieu of $20,000 bail. There is no word yet as to what disciplinary actions will be taken against Yashou by the TSA and/or LAX.
Have you recently been arrested for a theft offense? If so, you need to speak with a
Los Angeles criminal defense attorney now to discuss your legal options.
