Young Man Faces Sexual Assualt Charges

Daniel Brazelton, 20, is now being held on charges of sexual assault against a 15-year-old girl in Los Angeles County.

The former Army private was the subject of a nationwide manhunt over the past few weeks when he escaped from custody. Brazelton was being held in military custody in Georgia when he escaped on February 11 as he was being transferred from military to civilian custody after a medical appointment.

According to Los Angeles County sheriff's Capt. Michael Parker, Brazelton was apprehended in a motel in Daytona Beach, Fla. last Friday night. At that time he was arrested without incident.
