Plastic Surgeon Facing Criminal Charges

One man has not just one criminal charge pending against him, but three, for very serious crimes.

The suspect, a plastic surgeon living in Los Angeles, California was already wanted for the possible death of a patient. However, officers caught him during a sting operation attempting to sell a piece of medical equipment for $20,000. Since he was not the actual owner of the equipment, police were able to charge him with two felony counts of grand theft.

After being taken into custody at his medical office, police learned that he was also living in the country illegally. His bail was later set for $1 million and he is due back in court on August 3^rd. While little else is known about the defendant, it is known that he is relying on the services of a public defender at this time.
