Faith Evans Arrested for Suspicion of DUI

This week, the Los Angeles police department says that Grammy award-winning singer and actress, Faith Evans, was recently arrested on charges of suspicion of driving under the implement. Evans was stopped at a DUI checkpoint in Marina Del Ray over the weekend.

Faith Evans is well-known for being the widow of rapper Notorious B.I.G and reportedly showed signs of impairment by alcohol when she was pulled over by police. Officers say she was booked and then held at the Pacific Division jail for four hours before being released pending formal charges.

In 2004, Evans was charged with cocaine and marijuana possession and spent 13 weeks in drug rehabilitation for the charge.
