Hit Man Hired to Kill L.A. Police Officer
Police say that a man from the city of Burbank could face nine years in prison if he is convicted of soliciting a hit man to murder the officer who impounded his vehicle.
According to the Daily News of Los Angeles, 21-year-old John Forbush had to spend the month of September in jail and has pled not guilty to solicitation of murder. At this time, he remains in jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
Officers say that the defendant offered $200 to a hit man in L.A. He wanted the hit man to kill the Los Angeles police officer that issued him a traffic ticket and had his vehicle towed. Forbush's lawyer has countered that the charge is not serious and is calling the case complicated.
